I was for 10 years ( 1974 - 1984 ) boyscout  the first couple of years as simple boyscout and the rest as navy boyscout in the 7th system of  White Tower.

I played basketball for 16 years ( 1982 - 1998 ) where I made friends, that with  some of them we are still in touch ( SV2HPY ).

I am working in the Hellenic Petroleum in the rafinery, in the transport and storage department in the west side of the city.

I live in Boulgari area of eastern side of city and I am married. My wife is Martha and I have two kids, Antoni and Christina.

My hobbies apart from radio-amateur is windserfing, skiing, Traditional ( Greek ) Cretan music, because I come from Creta Island..........

My first meetting with radio amateur was a long time ago before my lisence, in the 80's when my cusin Christos SV2CPP introdusted  me with his hobby.  Diffirent things then didn't allow me to involve, but it happens when on April of 2003 my collique in work  George SV2BRT send me to the Radio Amateur Union Northen Greece ( R.A.U.N.G. ) where got my first knowlage.

After following some courses from my " teachers" SV2CLG and SV2FPU ( and I thank them for that ) I manage to take my first license in "2nd" category  as SW2HNZ on Octomber of 2003, and then the license of  "1st " category as SV2HNZ on May of 2004. Since January of  2005  I am member of  Radio Amateur Association of Greece.

Since then Octomber 2003 I am active member of Radio Amateur Union Northen Greece, active on HF frequencies in all modes ssb,cw, psk31,rtty,sstv...... and also in to 2m and 70cm.

On May of 2006 three colleges and I ( best friends of mine ), John SV2FPU, Nick SV2HPP and my best-man John SV2HPY, we created a team the "WHITE TOWER DX TEAM"  that its perpose is to make our dreams for this hobby to come true.

From September of 2006  I'm  member of the European Phase Shift Keying Club (#712).

  Thanks a summary of my history ( for who even cares ) and I hope with this site to help ( where I can ) who ever wants either with this or througth contact ( mail ). And I would really like your help to work this out beneficial and correct. 
So if you want to make a comment, to add or suggest anything for its improvement, I would like it very much. Because there a time we all need help.........
